Puzzles for Ages 2-4

Puzzle piece counts here range from 2-piece match-up pairs up to 36-piece pouch puzzles. The jump from 12 to 36 pieces usually happens between ages 2 and 3, and the right starting point depends on whether your child has done puzzles before.

Jumbo floor puzzles (25 pieces, ages 2+) are the biggest format at this age. Pouch puzzles (12-36 pieces) are the most portable. Progressive 4-in-a-box sets give your child four puzzles with increasing difficulty in one purchase.

Books and Reading for Ages 2-4
