The puzzle was fairly easy and particularly good for younger players. The pieces interlocked nicely. As a cat lover, the different pictures of the cats was fun.
We have all of Mudpuppy's geography puzzles because they're well-made and easy for kids to put together. I bought this one as a gift for my 5-year-old niece to help teach her the names of states. My kids love their puzzle as well!
I consider myself geographically challenged and wanted to be able to really learn where all the states are located on the map. This is a fun way to learn and also teach USA geography.
Cute, but missing a little too much integrity. Both panhandles amputated from WV for example—key features of that state shape. Also, the country’s VP is from Puerto Rico. My mom still thinks that is another country. In 2022, our inhabited territories are overdue to be included as part of the country. State nicknames on backs of states are great.
Teaching long-distance during Covid was made easier by the two maps I had sent to my grandkids. Not only was there a map of the US, plus capital cities, but on the other was information about each particular state: State bird, state flower, etc. The kids loved using it in our history lessons.
